Hello bigYoutifuls,
This isn't today's post blog but I felt it was important to take the time to write about the natural disaster and devastation from the typhoon that's hit the Philippines. I know many of you like me are saddened by the plight of the people left in the wake of it. I feel shame that I haven't mentioned it before now. We are becoming desensitised to the needs of people outside our circles, our little worlds in times like this. A time past this would have been the first thing I blogged about when it happened. I can't believe it's taken me days. I only want to encourage you my bigYoutifuls to exercise your charitable 'arm'. I am sure many of you are doing something to help but even if you just keep the people and animals of that country in your thoughts and prayers you are doing much. Help you local charities raising on their behalf. Donate if you can afford it. Give something you don't need. Give your time. One tiny action, one tiny part of your day can make such a a difference in someone life where devastation has hit. There will be people and organisations and charities where you live doing what they can to help. Contact them. Go and drop off your unwanted item, your donation and volunteer if you can or want. If that is too much a few seconds of prayer if you pray will be just as good.
We are bigYoutiful people with bigYoutiful hearts for our fellow humans in the bigYoutiful world!
RayRay xx
